San Francisco 49ers Secure Dominant Win Over New York Giants.

In Week 3 of the NFL season, the New York Giants faced off against the undefeated San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The game took place on Thursday night and started at 8:15 p.m. ET.

The Giants, led by quarterback Daniel Jones, had a dramatic second-half comeback in their previous game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2, which was seen as a season-saving win for them. Before that win, they had a tough start to the season, being outscored 60-0 in the first six quarters.

On the other hand, the San Francisco 49ers, led by quarterback Brock Purdy, were off to a strong start with back-to-back wins, securing the top spot in the NFC West.

Both teams were missing key offensive players due to injury, with Giants running back Saquon Barkley sidelined with an ankle injury and 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk out with a shoulder injury.

The game began with the 49ers methodically moving down the field and settling for a 28-yard field goal by Jake Moody. The Giants responded with a drive that ended in a 44-yard field goal by Graham Gano.

In the first quarter, 49ers star defensive end Nick Bosa recorded his first sack of the season, taking down Daniel Jones. The 49ers continued to make progress in the second quarter with screen passes to Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey, leading to a touchdown pass to Ronnie Bell.

On the other side, the Giants managed to get into 49ers territory, allowing Gano to kick a 57-yard field goal just before halftime.

At halftime, the 49ers held a lead of 17-6, controlling the game with more possession time and outgaining the Giants significantly in total yards.

Christian McCaffrey made NFL history in the first half by scoring a rushing touchdown in his 12th consecutive game, tying Jerry Rice’s record in 49ers history.

In the second half, both teams punted on their initial possessions, but the Giants benefited from penalties on the 49ers to score an 8-yard touchdown run by Matt Breida.

Deebo Samuel continued to shine, making a 40-yard pickup on a play and helping the 49ers secure a 21-12 lead with a field goal.

The 49ers extended their lead by putting together another field-goal drive, helped by a 29-yard completion from Purdy to George Kittle.

The game ended with a 27-yard touchdown pass from Purdy to Samuel, and the 49ers won with a final score of 30-12.
